Ele era um SUV compacto, virou m\u00e9dio, ficou mais sofisticado e, claro, tornou-se mais caro &#8211; mas manteve o nome. O velho Kicks n\u00e3o desapareceu: ganhou o sobrenome Play, transformou-se numa esp\u00e9cie de vers\u00e3o de entrada da marca e continuou vendendo muito bem, at\u00e9 mais do que o agora irm\u00e3o mais chique. Agora, o Kicks Play saiu de linha e nasceu o Kait. Mas o novo Kait \u00e9 uma apenas uma reestiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do velho Kicks? A coluna <strong>Multieixos <\/strong>o testou por uma semana e constatou. Sim, \u00e9 uma atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o visual, aquela aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de uma atraente roupagem. E isso \u00e9 muito bom. Afinal, h\u00e1 v\u00e1rias raz\u00f5es pelas quais um novo produto, desde que tenha como base um mais antigo, costuma ter maior probabilidade de sucesso. O Kait, por exemplo, manteve o que as fam\u00edlias de classe m\u00e9dia brasileiras (e, claro, taxistas, frotistas, motoristas de aplicativos etc) querem: tem bom espa\u00e7o interno, proporciona conforto e, o melhor de tudo, tem um motor confi\u00e1vel (embora pouco \u00e1gil) e de baixo consumo de combust\u00edvel. Mesmo que estejam nele v\u00e1rios itens do modelo anterior &#8211; como teto, portas e at\u00e9 o para-lamas. Mas a Nissan deveria lembrar que reestilizar \u00e9 aprimorar, requintar, aperfei\u00e7oar. E que quaisquer eventuais defeitos comuns a um produto in\u00e9dito t\u00eam menos chances de aparecer numa situa\u00e7\u00e3o como essa. E, ainda, que o custo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o seja bem mais em conta. N\u00e3o \u00e0 toa, o SUV brasileiro ser\u00e1 exportado para pelo menos 20 pa\u00edses, incluindo o M\u00e9xico. Oferta mais espa\u00e7o do que o Volkswagen Tera (2,56m) ou o Fiat Pulse, outro concorrente direto, com 2,53m. O fato: a Nissan manteve o 1.6 aspirado flex de quatro cilindros e 16 v\u00e1lvulas. Ele gera at\u00e9 113 cv e 15,5kgfm &#8211; o que, convenhamos, fica bem abaixo dos n\u00fameros dos concorrentes. O Fiat Pulse, s\u00f3 para ficar num exemplo j\u00e1 citado, tem propulsor 1.0, embora turbo, com at\u00e9 130 cv e torque de 20,4 kgfm. A vers\u00e3o topo de linha do italiano, transformado em Abarth, traz motor 1.3 com 185 cv e 27,5 kgfm de torque. Isso n\u00e3o chega a ser um n\u00f3 g\u00f3rdio, mas mesmo no tr\u00e2nsito urbano di\u00e1rio nota-se a falta de for\u00e7a do Kait. O carro fica pouco \u00e1gil. Numa a\u00e7\u00e3o de ultrapassagem, o barulho do motor vai \u00e0s alturas. E n\u00e3o passa seguran\u00e7a nas rodovias, mesmo em retomadas. A falta de refer\u00eancia sobre os turbos nos 1.0 at\u00e9 pode deixar os clientes fi\u00e9is da Nissan satisfeitos, mas basta um teste r\u00e1pido com um concorrente que eles sentir\u00e3o a diferen\u00e7a. E, para aqueles motoristas de p\u00e9 leve, cuidadosos, \u00e9 bem econ\u00f4mico. Vale refor\u00e7ar: dados de consumo devem ser vistos com parcim\u00f4nia, levando em conta modo de condu\u00e7\u00e3o, carga do ve\u00edculo, condi\u00e7\u00f5es da via e por a\u00ed vai. Mas, j\u00e1 que insistem, vejamos: o Kait tem m\u00e9dias p\u00fablicas de 11,3 km\/l na cidade e 13,7 km\/l na estrada &#8211; com gasolina. Em estradas, pode chegar a 16 km\/l. De novidade, cap\u00f4, far\u00f3is em LED na frente e na traseira &#8211; al\u00e9m de rodas, para-choques e tampa do porta-malas, uma mudan\u00e7a bem percept\u00edvel. Ali\u00e1s, o conjunto \u00f3ptico frontal e traseiro ficou muito bonito, fino, estiloso &#8211; e que chama a aten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 primeira vista. Isso inclui as DRLs (luzes de rodagem diurna), de tr\u00eas listras. E, como funcionalidade, ainda oferta o acendimento inteligente, o chamado sensor crepuscular com regulagem el\u00e9trica de altura. Por fim, vale lembrar do sistema &#8220;Follow me Home&#8221; (ou &#8220;siga-me para casa&#8221;). Essa fun\u00e7\u00e3o de seguran\u00e7a e conveni\u00eancia mant\u00e9m os far\u00f3is baixos ou lanternas do ve\u00edculo acesos por um tempo determinado (geralmente 30 a 270 segundos) ap\u00f3s desligar a igni\u00e7\u00e3o e fechar o carro. O quadro de instrumentos, por sua vez, \u00e9 mais moderno, com duas telas digitais. Tem chave presencial para abertura das portas e partida por bot\u00e3o. Os bancos t\u00eam revestimento em couro, mas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o t\u00e3o aconchegantes quanto deveriam para um carro de R$ 150 mil. Em termos de seguran\u00e7a, destaque para os seis airbags e para o alerta e assistente de frenagem e detec\u00e7\u00e3o de pedestre. Vale, ainda, destacar o assistente de perman\u00eancia em faixa, a c\u00e2mera com vis\u00e3o 360\u00ba, o alerta de ponto cego, a frenagem aut\u00f4noma de emerg\u00eancia e o controle de cruzeiro adaptativo (ACC).
